Lexes of time

.

I do not know what time is.

.

In the course of this lexicon I regard time through Andy Clark’s

“symbiotic relationship” (Clark, 2003, 24)

of humans and technologies.

I attempt to make visible how temporality of work shapes structures of thinking and disciplines the body and the self. It foregrounds a single and homogeneous mode of relating to the world.

My urgency is to advocate

the agency of pace.

The practical dialogue

between technologies of temporality and humans

offers an entry point

to discover

the possibility of multiple and heterogeneous paces and temporalities.
